Pizza Puffs

Ingredients
1 can (10 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
1/4 cup pizza sauce
1 cup grated part-skim mozzarella cheese (you can use cheddar)
12 to 14 slices pepperoni (optional)

Steps
1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/8" thickness. Using a cookie cutter or glass 3" in diameter, cut circles of dough. (re-roll leftover pieces of dough).
3. Place 1/2 teaspoon of sauce in the center of each circle-do not spread. Top with a slice of pepperoni and 1 teaspoon cheese.
4. Wrap dough around filling and pinch shut.
5. Place seam side sown on a greased cookie sheet and brush tops lightly with water or egg wash.(1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water.)
6. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes until lightly browned. Serve warm!!



Biscuit Pizza

Ingredients
1 small can pizza sauce
Grated mozzarella cheese
1 (10 count) can biscuits

On an un-greased cookie sheet, place biscuits about one inch apart. Flatten biscuit with palm of hand, then put on one tablespoon of pizza sauce and sprinkle on cheese. Bake according to directions on biscuit can, usually at 450 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes. You can add sliced pepperoni, chopped olives, sliced mushrooms, etc.
