* Brown Construction Paper
* Bone-shaped dog treat
* Wiggly Eyes
* Brown & Pink Felt
* Black Pompom
To make this cute dog craft, trace a bone shape that’s a little more than double the size of the bone-shaped dog treat on the brown construction paper. Cut it out with scissors. This will be the dogs body. Place the dog treat toward the top of construction paper shape and glue it into place. This will be the dog’s head. Blue the wiggly eyes on the real dog treat as eyes. Add the pompom as the dog’s nose.
Cut two ears out of the brown felt and a small tongue out of the pink. Glue the ears to the side of the dog’s head, and the tongue toward the bottom of the doggy treat so it looks like the puppy’s tongue is hanging out.
That’s it. Of course you can decorate this little dog craft further by making a collar out of construction paper, foam or felt. Or use markers to draw it on. If this is a girl dog, you could also add a small bow out of ribbon, felt, string or even drawn on construction paper to the top of the puppy’s head.
You and your kids will also have a great time making this cute mouse magnet craft together.
