You’ll Need

* Black Sock
* White Felt
* Orange Felt
* Black Felt
* Wiggly Eyes, Buttons Or Beads
* Scissors
* Glue

We will turn an old black sock into a penguin puppet. Start by cutting an oval shape out of the white felt. Glue it on the sock to turn it into the penguin’s white belly.

Add the wiggly eyes, buttons or beads to the top of the sock as eyes. Wiggly eyes can be glued on, buttons or beads will stay in place better if you stick them on.

Cut a beak out of orange felt and glue it below the eyes. Cut two wings out of black felt and attach them to the penguins sides.

Now your penguin puppet is ready for play. Watch your child reply scenes from “Happy Feet” or create his own penguin character with this simple little penguin puppet craft.
