A Slice of Watermelon

You'll Need
- Paper plates
- Green paint or
marker
- Red
construction paper
- Glue
- Dried
Watermelon seeds (black)

Directions:
1. Cut a paper plate in
half.
2. Pain the rim green. This will be the rind of the melon.
3. Cut a half circle the size of the inner part of the paper plate out of
the red construction paper and glue it on your paper plate half.
4. Form the foil into a coil or spring shape (by wrapping it around a
broom handle).
5. Dab some glue on the watermelon seeds and glue them on the red
construction paper.
These make cute classroom and bulletin board decorations.
