Directions:
Rip the edge of the paper all around.
The more you rip, the older your parchment will look. Crumple your piece
of paper into a tight ball. Flatten your piece of paper back out and put
it on a cookie sheet. Pour the coffee over your paper. Make sure the
entire piece of paper is covered with the liquid.
Let the paper sit in the liquid for
about 5 minutes, then pour the remaining liquid out. Blow dry the paper on
high for about 5 minutes while it is still on the cookie sheet. Turn it
over and finish drying it.
If you'd like, you can also set the wet
paper on the cookie sheet in the sun to dry.
Use your markers or pens to write a
message or draw a map on the paper.
When you're done, you can roll it up and
tie a piece of string or a ribbon around it.
