Directions:
Start by cutting a piece of cardboard that's about 10
inches high and long enough to fit around your child's head. Cut
triangles out of one side to make it into a crown shape. Let your child
decorate the crown by coloring or painting it and gluing glass beads on
as jewels. When the crown is all decorated and the paint had a chance to
dry, either tape or staple the two ends together to make the round crown
shape. Place the crown on the king.
Tip:
You and your child can make a simple scepter out of a paper towel roll
and a Styrofoam ball. Glue the ball on top of the cardboard roll, cover
everything with either gold foil wrapping paper, or color it and then
add various glass beads as jewels to the scepter. You can even ball up
little pieces of different colors of tissue paper to make the jewels.
