This artist costume is great for pretend play. Find out how to make an artist costume.

Stop Feeding Your Kids Junk! - Skip the fast food and frozen TV dinners...Find out how easy it is to cook a home-cooked meal each night by planning it ahead of time. Grab your free Menu Planning Basics report at www.MenuPlanningCentral.com - and watch for the menu pack offer after you sign up.

You'll Need
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Old Shirt or blouse (white)
  • Beret

Directions:

Cut a painter's pallet shape out of the cardboard. Draw several circles on it and color them in in different colors of paint.

Splatter some paint on the old shirt or blouse. This will be your child's painter's coat. Have her wear the beret along with the shirt and give her the paint pallet (after the paint had a chance to dry of course) and the paint brush.

She can pretend to be a famous painter.
