Directions:
Fill the plastic bottle about 3/4 of
the way with water and add a few drops of blue food coloring to turn the
water ocean blue. Close the the bottle with the cap and shake to get the
food coloring evenly distributed in the water. Open the bottle and fill
it up the rest of the way with oil.
Run a bead of glue in the inside of the
cap, then screw it tightly on the bottle. Allow the glue to dry.
Now it's time to make ocean waves.
Gently shake the bottle and watch the waves. This happens because water
and oil don't mix.
