You'll Need
  • plastic strawberry container
  • construction paper
  • pipe cleaners
  • scissors
  • glue

Directions:

Cut the construction paper into strips about 1/2 inch wide. Begin at the bottom of the basket and weave the paper strips in and out through the container to create a weave pattern. Alternate colors if you'd like. When the entire basket is covered, use the glue to secure the ends of the strips to the strawberry container.

Make a handle out of the pipe cleaners and you are ready for the Easter egg hunt.

Next, make this cute preschool Easter chick craft to add to the basket.
