Directions:
Mix the glue and cinnamon well. Slowly
add the apple sauce until it forms a stiff dough. Knead the dough for 5
minutes until it is firm. Let it rest at room temperature for 30
minutes.
Lay out some wax paper and sprinkle a
little of the extra cinnamon on there to keep the dough from sticking.
Roll the dough out to about 1/8th of an inch. Use cookie cutters to cut
out shapes. To use them as ornaments, also add a small hole in the top
using a toothpick, pen or similar thin object.
Let the dough shapes dry at room
temperature for 48 hours to a week. Turn the cookie shapes every 24
hours to make sure they dry evenly on all sides.
Thread some ribbon through the small
hole you made to use them as hanging ornaments on your Christmas tree.
