Hamburger Gravy Recipe

Hamburger gravy served over mashed potatoes or toast makes for a quick and easy dinner. It’s always a favorite in our house.

INGREDIENTS:

* 2 pounds lean ground beef
* 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
* 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
* 4 cups milk
* 1/4 cup flour
* 2 beef bouillon cubes

DIRECTIONS:

Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Add minced onion and
seasoning salt. Crumble and cook over medium high heat until evenly brown.
Remove from heat and drain.

Return hamburger to pan and sprinkle flour over it. Stir until evenly
coated.

Place skillet over medium heat, add 2 C. of milk and beef bouillon cubes.
Stir until gravy begins to thicken. Add remaining milk until desired
consistency has been reached (you may not need all of it) and gravy comes to
a boil.

Serve over mashed potatoes or toast.

Filled Kaiser Roll Recipe

Just scoop out a Kaiser Roll and fill it with ground beef, veggies and more for a dinner sandwich.

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 pound ground beef
* 1 small onion, diced
* 1 green bell pepper, diced
* 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
* 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
* 6 Kaiser rolls, split

DIRECTIONS:

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the onion, green pepper, and mushrooms. Drain off excess grease. Reduce heat to medium, and stir in the cream of mushroom soup. Mix in the Cheddar cheese until blended, then remove from heat.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Scoop out the centers of the Kaiser rolls on both the top and bottom. Spoon the ground beef mixture into the rolls. Wrap each one in aluminum foil.

Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the rolls are toasted.

Cheese Enchilada Casserole Recipe

With just a handful of ingredients this cheesy enchilada casserole is quick and easy to put together. Serve it as a quick dinner or bring it to your next potluck.

INGREDIENTS:

* 6-8 cups enchilada sauce
* 8 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey jack)
* 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix (1.25 oz packet is equal to 4 Tablespoons)
* 18 corn tortillas

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Add 1/2 taco seasoning mix packet to bag of shredded cheese and shake well. Cover bottom of baking dish with thin layer of enchilada sauce. Cover sauce with 6 corn tortillas. Top with cheese. Repeat layer twice.

Cover with foil and bake covered for 35-45 minutes. Remove foil and bake uncovered last 5-10 minutes.
