* 1/2 cup applesauce
* 3/4 cup ground cinnamon
* 3 tbsp white school glue
* extra cinnamon
* wax paper
Mix the glue and cinnamon well. Slowly add the apple sauce until it forms a stiff dough. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it is firm. Let it rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Lay out some wax paper and sprinkle a little of the extra cinnamon on there to keep the dough from sticking. Roll the dough out to about 1/8th of an inch. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes. To use them as ornaments, also add a small hole in the top using a toothpick, pen or similar thin object.
Let the dough shapes dry at room temperature for 48 hours to a week. Turn the cookie shapes every 24 hours to make sure they dry evenly on all sides.
Thread some ribbon through the small hole you made to use them as hanging ornaments on your Christmas tree.
